Men carry coke on bicycles 25km from the illegal mine of Parwadhi Punkharee to the district town of Hazaribagh. This coke is for household consumption and the carrier can expect to make INR.300-500 per journey. Most choose to hire a tractor to ferry them and their loads up the steep hill at the beginning of the journey.
