About
I’m a British photographer and divide my time between London and New Delhi. My work has appeared in lots of different publications including The Financial Times magazine, National Geographic Adventure magazine, Marie Claire and Newsweek. I also undertake commissions for development agencies including UNICEF and UNDP together with NGOs like ActionAid, Oxfam and Save the Children.
My photographs on the Indian middle class featured in the Noorderlicht Photofestival 2006: Another Asia. In the same year, The British Council and UNICEF hosted an exhibition of my photographs depicting the lives of tsunami-affected children in Chennai, India. My work was displayed at London’s National Portrait gallery in 2008-9 as part of the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize. I began writing this blog in May 2009.
